Bad Dog
I came home to find that Taz had grabbed a bag of chips from the counter (which I didn’t even know he could get up there), tore open the bag and ate the rest of the chips.

I left Taz with his foster dad, Joe, while I’m on vacation. Hope they have a great time hanging out!
WatchJust recently found out Taz knows the command “Speak”.
Taz threw up a grass ball after camping.
Camping
We learned that Taz can’t poop without being on a leash. Had to take him for a walk…while camping…to get him to poop.
Weigh In
Taz is now under the 120 pound mark: he’s now 118 pounds! Only 8 more pounds and he can get his teeth cleaned (he has to go under anesthesia to do that). Since July, Taz has lost a total of 47 pounds. Holy moly!!!
Taz and I went on run today! We went 1.25 miles but only ran about .5 of that..but still! Taz was really good about running next to me and only tripped me a few times.
Taz is down to 123 pounds! He had a huge workout today and is really tired but he is getting really strong and gaining lots of muscle!
Training
I’m trying to teach Taz ‘left’ and ‘right’. I thought I taught him, but I think he just knows the way back to the house.
New Design
I felt that in honor of Taz losing 40lbs so far, the blog should get a facelift.
Found out that Taz is really protective and defensive when he’s in the trunk of the car. On another note, he’s getting way more energetic as he keeps exercising…just in time for winter! (sarcastic exclamation here)

It’s so hard to leave Taz in the morning. He sticks his nose in the window and watches me drive away. So cute!
Weigh in #3
Taz weighs 127 pounds now. He’s lost 40 pounds since July. It’s hard to believe he was 40 pounds heavier. Way to go, Taz!
We had another hydrotherapy session this morning. He walked for 10 mins on the treadmill, which was a great workout.
I’ve had Taz for 9 week now. Holy cow, time flies!
